Thank you all for the encouragement yesterday. It helps greatly to know that I are not alone.
Last night when I got home my ever surprising husband had already set up an appt. with a Frigidaire repairman to diagnose and fix the machine.
and this is the best part....UNDER WARRANTY!
So, instead of being on the phone all morning like I was DREADING, I was able to help my Father-in-law in the office and then get groceries to make birthday cookies for Eben's class tomorrow.
A few trees fell in the wake of a wind storm, and the air was filled with the sweetest smell of balsam. I gathered a whole bunch of the needles and used them for a final present for my boy's birthday.
AND do you see that "designed by" and "submitted by" on page 91 of One Skein Wonders.
THAT is the really nice owner of Adirondack Yarns. The LYS that I took photos for and so kindly sells my knitting needle wraps.
It is the store/coffee shop that I have been meaning to spend hours in ever since Eben started school.
HOURS, I tell you.....and I have not even set foot in there since school began.
So, today I got as far as the gusset and I am really loving the Eco yarn that I am using.
Tomorrow is the birthday boy's big day. And the day when I will announce the winners of the buttons.
AND the day in which I intend to finally GO to Adirondack Yarns.

I almost forgot..... my sweet sister has a tutorial over in her space....a really soft and beautiful pillow sitting on her guest bed. Just waiting for me to rest my weary head on the next time that I sleep over.

GO FRAN, GO FRAN!!!!That is so cool about Sue! I love that you found that. Hopefully tomorrow will be all that you want it to be. Kiss my birthday boy for his Auntie Lala.
Happy Birthday to Eben! My little one turned four on Sunday ~ where does the time go, I wish I knew. Here's to cherishing the moments that pass too quickly. Enjoy.
Happy Birthday to your sweet little one!
Ah, so much in this post!!
First--so. happy. for you that the dishwasher was under warranty.
Second--I can almost smell those needles when I look at your picture!
Third--I have looked through the windows of that yarn shop, but it was closed when we were there. It looked packed full of great supplies. I had to console myself with ice cream at the little shop almost next door.
And Last, but most important--HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Eben!
