"  Is there anything you can't do?" 
I asked in reference to her new project.

"  Umm...no? Don't you know we can do anything we put our mind to?? ; ) Even if I fail, I still give it a try."
 She replied.

And I just sat there staring at the screen nodding my head.

Up 

and 

Down.

A nerve.

Bullseye..

Every single day something calls to me.  Inspiring.  It may be a tutorial,  a space, a resolve, a technique a mother uses to ease her boy to sleep, a photo, a switch, a shirt, a recipe, a project.   Whatever it may be, it never fails to stop me in my tracks..thoughts racing about how to go about attempting it....my own spin.    My mind whispering all along...


" Try."


For a long time I ignored it.  Unsure of my abilities.  New to being a mother, a wife, an adult.  Insecure in the craft of living.  So much out there to see...to do...to be.  A surface barely scratched in the realm of things.  The realm of life.


Last month there was a turning of the clock.  And still it rings in my ears.... the tick of Thirty years gone by.

Tick. 

I do feel it though.  Maturity.  And with it come the crashing waves of security....in my own skin.  No more hiding out.  No more excuses.  Less procrastination. Less worrying what someone will think of it. I must own it.

I must. 

A new found excitement from taking initiative in inspiration is slowly pushing me to TRY.  To give it a go.  Taking the first steps. 

Spinning my own life.  Every day is anew.

My family, this weblog, and all of my friends who visit me here have been instrumental in this revelation.

So Thanks.  I needed it.
